"I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten,
and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white"
Song: White Christmas

Kiringo taken november 2008 at zoo Duisburg. Do not steal.

Thank you so much! I would have never expected to get a prize :boogie:
I think Kiringo tried to eat the branch and when nipping and pulling on it, the snow fell off and I was able to take a shot of that scene. Shortly after he walked away.

Last time I went to the zoo, he was far away in front of the stable doors because he does not like the coldness but when I appeared (I was the only visitor around) he came straight to me and looked at me as if he wanted to say "Hi". I like him a lot :) He was handraised and is interested in people.

Heh. Yeah our African animals are kept inside because of all the cold. Same with a few other animals who live in warmer weather. But the North American animals are right at home in this weather.

Aww. I love it when animals come right up to you and give a hello.
